Dexcom G7 sensors have a maximum wear time of 10 days and include an additional 12-hour grace period, allowing for a total of 10.5 days of use. Throughout the entire wear time, including the grace period, the sensor functions normally and continues to support features such as Control-IQ technology.
The Dexcom G7 is the only integrated continuous glucose monitoring system that is cleared for use during pregnancy. Its advanced technology allows continuous glucose readings, with alerts and historical trends, to help manage type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes.
